Welcome to Arrest Stories. A Chattanooga attorney faces multiple charges after allegedly breaking into a neighbor's home, waking them with a flashlight, and punching a resident in the face during what appears to be a drug-fueled rampage on Tuesday. Here's what may have happened.
Fisher Wise's Tuesday began spiraling out of control around six eighteen in the evening when deputies were called to a home on Haisten Court in East Ridge. According to police reports, witnesses observed Wise exhibiting increasingly erratic behavior throughout the day, including running over and laying in front of a lawn mower while someone was cutting grass.
The situation escalated when Wise allegedly touched a woman inappropriately and attempted to follow her inside her residence. Officers report finding Wise rolling around on the ground and yelling incoherently. When confronted, Wise allegedly shouted "the universe wants you to stop" and "stop it stop it stop it" at responding officers.
The most serious incident occurred just after seven in the morning on Palisades Road. Police say Wise entered victims' home through an unlocked door, proceeded to their bedroom, and woke the sleeping residents by shining a bright flashlight directly in their faces. When a neighbor pushed the flashlight away, Wise allegedly punched him in the eye.
The victims managed to restrain Wise with handcuffs before police arrived. Throughout the ordeal, Wise continued resisting arrest, refusing officers' commands to get on the ground and fighting multiple attempts to properly handcuff him.
When questioned about his behavior, Wise denied drug use, telling officers "I'm not on drugs I'm in the spirit molecule." However, victims reported believing he was under the influence of narcotics based on his erratic actions and incoherent statements.
This isn't Wise's first encounter with law enforcement. In two thousand sixteen, he faced disorderly conduct and retaliation charges after screaming outside the Courts Building.
Wise now faces charges including assault, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
