RUBY WHITEHORN BUSTED: FELONY CHARGES DROPPED IN SHOCKING DEAL

Welcome to Arrest Stories. University of Tennessee Lady Vols player Ruby Whitehorn faces her second arrest in three months, this time for marijuana possession during a traffic stop just weeks after being reinstated to the team. Here's what may have happened.

On the evening of October thirtieth, a police officer observed a vehicle failing to stay in its lane near the University of Tennessee campus. What began as a routine traffic stop quickly escalated when officers discovered five point five nine grams of marijuana in the possession of twenty-one-year-old Ruby Whitehorn, a member of the Lady Vols basketball team.

This latest incident marks a troubling pattern for Whitehorn, who was previously arrested on August eighth and charged with two felony counts of aggravated burglary and domestic assault following an altercation outside a woman's residence. Those serious charges were later reduced when Whitehorn pleaded guilty on September fifth to two misdemeanors - vandalism and aggravated criminal trespass - as part of a judicial diversion agreement.

Under the terms of her probation, Whitehorn must complete eleven months and twenty-nine days of supervision, including anger management classes and maintaining no trouble or assaultive behavior against the woman involved in the original incident. If she successfully meets these requirements, the convictions will be erased from her record.

Police described Whitehorn as cooperative during the October traffic stop, with one official stating that Ruby Whitehorn was "cooperative and transparent when she was stopped." The university has acknowledged awareness of both situations, with representatives repeatedly stating they are "aware of the situation and awaiting additional information."

Whitehorn was reinstated to the team on September eighth, just days after her plea agreement. However, she previously told reporters that "a lot of limitations were put in place" following her return to the program.

This second arrest raises questions about Whitehorn's ability to fulfill her probationary requirements and maintain her position with the Lady Vols basketball program.

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
