PORCH PIRATE BUSTED WITH STOLEN PACKAGES IN SHOCKING ARREST

Welcome to Arrest Stories. A forty-six-year-old man disguised in women's clothing was arrested after deputies caught him red-handed stealing packages from residential porches across state lines. Here's what may have happened.

Todd Anthony Bond found himself behind bars Friday morning after Mobile County Sheriff's Office deputies executed a carefully planned operation to catch an alleged porch pirate in action. The Jackson resident faces first-degree theft of property charges following his arrest at approximately six in the morning.

According to official reports, Bond's alleged crime spree began with a cross-state operation. Deputies revealed he had initially left Alabama for Mississippi before returning with stolen merchandise. "So we learned that he had actually left the state, originally in Mississippi. We learned that he was coming back through to Alabama. We were lying in wait," officials stated.

The arrest unfolded when patrol deputies spotted a black Ford Escape traveling eastbound at high speed near Boe Road Extension and Spanish Trail around one in the morning. Deputies initially pulled Bond over for exceeding the speed limit, but the traffic stop quickly escalated when they discovered multiple stolen packages inside the vehicle.

Witnesses reported seeing Bond, wearing women's clothes and makeup, exit his vehicle and walk directly to a house with numerous delivery boxes on the porch. He allegedly loaded the packages into his Ford Escape before attempting to flee the scene.

The recovered stolen items painted a picture of an extensive operation. Deputies found Amazon deliveries, prescription medication, specialty machine parts, and even a rifle scope among the pilfered packages. These items had been systematically removed from residential porches across the region.

Security camera footage and community cooperation proved instrumental in identifying Bond and recovering the stolen merchandise. "Thank you to our Team Sheriff Facebook followers who assisted in helping us solve this crime," authorities acknowledged.

"Fortunately, the Mobile County Sheriff's Office moved fast," officials noted, adding reassuringly, "Well, your packages are safe today."

Bond appeared for his bond hearing Saturday morning to face the charges.

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
